The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
